Colorado cops arrested an intoxicated woman while responding to a domestic disturbance Tuesday because she allegedly tried to smuggle her newborn puppy away in her pants.
KMGH-TV reports 39-year-old Johna Rose Turner agreed to leave the scene, but before she did, she allegedly grabbed the tiny chihuahua and stuffed the dog into her pants. When officers told her to release the dog, Turner is accused of shaking her leg and letting the puppy roll out.
Officers say the suspect later tossed the puppy onto a nearby stroller. The six-day-old pup was unhurt, but cops arrested Turner on suspicion of animal cruelty.
