Them Crooked Vultures Rock SNL
Them Crooked Vultures landed on Saturday Night Live last weekend, and coincidentally it was a sketch in which Dave Grohl featured that stole the show.
The band performed a pair of songs from their self-titled debut album, yet something of their set was lost in the mix of the late night staple's dubious acoustics.
Dave Grohl's turn as a drummer in "Crisis of Conformity," a fictional band that reunites at the wedding of a member's daughter proved to be one of the show's most memorable moments.
With Bill Hader on bass, Ashton Kutcher on guitar and Fred Armisen on the microphone, the band proceed to thrash their way through "Fist Fight in the Parking Log."
It isn't the first time Grohl displayed his acting chops on SNL before- he also served as one of Samberg's victims in his "People Getting Punched Just Before Eating" digital short in 2007 when he was on the show with the Foo Fighters.
