1963 - The Animals played their first live radio broadcast on the BBC's Saturday Club.
1971 - The Sonny & Cher Show got its start on CBS. The show ran for over four years.
1975 - The Four Seasons released "December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)."
1985 - Metallica completed work on their classic album Master of Puppets.
1992 - Harry Connick Jr. was arrested at New York's Kennedy Airport after security found a 9mm pistol in his carry-on luggage.
2008 - Thieves broke into Gregg Allman's house in Georgia and stole a coin collection, knives and unreleased concert recordings. Two men where charged with the burglary two days later.
