1976 - Jerry Lee Lewis was arrested outside the gates of Graceland after showing up for the second time in a single night and shouting, waving a pistol in the air and demanding to see the King.
1979 - Marianne Faithful was arrested at Norways Oslo Airport for possession of marijuana.
1993 - Metallica's album Garage Inc. hit stores worldwide, though U.S. fans had to wait until the next day to get their hands on the effort.
